Fall In Florida

While we do not experience all four seasons in Florida Fall is definitely one of my favorites. The pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin patches and the occasional weather drop below 90 degrees.

Pumpkin Picking

This was our first time taking Luke and Colt to see a few pumpkin patches, and they had an amazing time. Luke had more fun throwing them, and Colt inspected each one carefully until he picked the perfect one that fit in his tiny little hands. I am looking forward to carving pumpkins next, and decorating the house in Halloween decor.

We were able to attend a Trunk-Or-Treat which was so much fun, and the entire family coordinated as different superheros! The boys had a blast eagerly approaching each adorably decorated car, with just enough spook to not scare off them off. They had bounce houses, face painting and Halloween crafts. It was a perfect night. I was nervous having two toddlers fully dressed in costumes in this heat, but they looked too cute for words. By the end of the night Colt was half naked with candy gripped so tight on his chest fighting sleep. Luke however, refused to take off his costume and literally passed out cold after coming off his sugar rush. I’m looking forward to making more memories like this. Fall is such a fun season and I cannot wait to see what we can get into next.

Pumpkin patches are my fave! We went to our first trunk or treat last year so I’m excited to get the kids to another one this Halloween!

We’re on the same boat here in So. Cal! It’s FINALLY starting to cool down!
